Fentanyl, should we be at war?

Fact

DEATHS

“Since 2000, more than a milion people in the United States have died of drug overdoses, the majority of which were due to opioids.  Fentanyl and other synthetic opioids have been driving the crisis in recent years, with an increasing share of the supply coming from Mexico.”

Fentanyl

“China is the principal source country of illicit fentanyl and fentanyl-related compounds in the U.S., according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Fentanyl analogs and precursor chemicals used to make fentanyl are illicitly manufactured in Chinese labs and then sold on the darknet and shipped in bulk to the U.S. and Mexico.”

National Drug Control Strategy

Many believe Illegal fentanyl should be classified as a weapon of mass destruction.

IRAQ WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR LESS DEATHS OF AMERICANS THAN CURRENT MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS, WE INVADED IRAQ.

Opinion

Our government has failed in keeping American safe with respect to the fentanyl crisis.  The President and all of congress should be held responsible.  The National Drug Control Strategy is more political than a solution.  i.e. “2. Advancing racial equity in our approach to drug policy.”  Is this really going to save lives?

A BETTER SOLUTION:

 1.  Classify illegal fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction.

 2.  Work with the Mexican government and other countries to seize all assets of the cartels.

3.  Announce all associated with drug cartels are in harms way.

4.  Use our military to seize property and kill cartel leaders.  (shock and awe)

5.  Improve our plan in regard to China in eliminating the raw material needed for fentanyl.

Action

Contact your Congressman and the President, let them know you are dissatisfied and action needs to be taken.
